You will find all the conveniences of modern day living in your kitchen, if you prefer cooking yourself, or, why not enjoy a meal from a huge choice of take-outs (who can resist fish and chips at the seaside?). Dine in the lovely surroundings of your open plan dining and living room. After dinner, stretch out in comfort and enjoy watching your favourite programme on the widescreen television or listen to your favourite sounds on the music system.

Our Penthouses

For that extra special occasion why not opt for our luxury penthouses. Located on the top floor of Lockton House these half a million pound properties consist of 2 bedrooms and over 1100 sq ft of living space and come with huge panoramic balconies. The Sands penthouses are available for 1 night stays or more and can sleep up to 4 people, prices start at £250 per penthouse per night.

Each apartment is different; each comes with those little extras that makes a stay at The Sands that little bit more special. From Scarborough Rock to Elemis beauty products and complimentary Welcome Packs, you will be guaranteed a stay to remember.

We now also have the worlds greatest DVD library for you to hire, completely free of charge. Some apartments even have Play Station 3's, X Box 360's or Nintendo Wii's included, great for entertaining the children!  

Services

All linen, dressing gowns and towels are of the highest 5 Star quality and are fully inclusive in the apartment price. A daily chamber maid service is also provided as part of the apartment price.   

Gymnasium & Sun Terrace

If you're feeling energetic and like a workout then take advantage of the private gym, which is for the exclusive use of guests and residents, and has a selection of cardio-vascular and weight training equipment. Take a stroll to the Sun Terrace on the roof of Kepwick House or use the sun lounges and take in the stunning views.

Secure Private Car Park

The Sands has its very own secure private car park. Each apartment has its own allocated parking space and disabled bays are also available.

Dining & Evening Entertainment

Located on the ground floor of Kepwick House are our restaurants, cafes and bars. These boast the finest dining and 5 Star venues for you to sample and enjoy. Buy an ice-cream from our luxury ice-cream parlour or use our convenience store for any of those must have items. (Open early 2009)

Beach Chalets 

In addition to all of this, we offer exclusive use of your own beach-front chalet for the duration of your stay – these are limited and must be booked in advance.
