Coastival Comedy......
As part of this year's Coastival Festival (February 13th - 15th ), Paul Tonkinson will be appearing at The Other Side Comedy Club on Monday 16th February.
Born in Scarborough, schooled in Scalby, Paul Tonkinson has built the enviable reputation as one of the country's finest exponents of stand up comedy - and the funniest man ever to come from Scarborough!!
Famously he replaced Johnny Vaughan on Channel 4’s ‘The Big Breakfast’, hosted ‘The Sunday Show’ BBC2, and has made numerous television appearances which include ‘Comic Relief does Fame Academy’ (BBC), The World Stands Up (Paramount), and Live at Jongleurs (ITV). Following a sustained period of Radio presenting, having hosted own shows on XFM and LBC, Paul is thankfully back concentrating on his first love – stand up.
The Editor of the web team has seen Paul Tonkinson perform his routine and can say he's one of the funniest comics he has ever seen!
