Yes it's true, we are celebrating our 1st Birthday today and we have to say what a fantastic first year we have had!

The Sands - Sea Front Apartments, Scarborough Self Catering Accommodation of The Year 2009, opened on the 1st December 2008 to the public.

Rachel Dean, director of The Sands Scarborough, said: 'We have had such a fantastic year and we are so proud of what we have achieved. At the beginning of the year we were awarded 5 Star self catering by Visit Britain for all 50 of our apartments at the Sands, then we have just won the Yorkshire Moors and Coast Self Catering Accommodation Of The Year 2009.'
