We are officially the best rated Accommodation in Scarborough

The Sands Sea Front Apartments have been awarded the prestigious 5 Star Gold rating making them Scarborough’s top rated accommodation provider.

VisitBritain presented Director Rachel Dean of The Sands Sea Front Apartments, based in Scarborough’s North Bay, with the prestigious Gold Award adding to their five previous stars, making them officially the highest quality guest accommodation provider in the area.

The Gold Award, according to VisitBritain, is achieved by properties with ‘‘exceptional levels of quality, comfort and cleanliness, and outstanding levels of customer service.’’

Sands Director Rachel Dean, delighted with the award, commented: ‘‘We weren’t content with getting 5 stars in our first year, so we decided to go for the ultimate rating possible in our second year aiming for the Gold Award. We all work so hard to make everything perfect for our guests so we were thrilled to get this level of recognition!

Winners of the Self Catering Accommodation Award at the 2009 Yorkshire Moors & Coast Tourism Awards, the Sands Sea Front Apartments now have 51 self-catering apartments to rent, including one bed, two bed and three bed apartments with views of the Castle Headland and North Bay Beach.
