Hundreds of people turned out to catch a glimpse of the Queen as she officially reopened Scarborough's Open Air Theatre, North Yorkshire.
Accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen arrived on the Royal train before travelling to the theatre, which has undergone a £3.5m refurbishment.

She viewed a short performance from local theatre groups before unveiling a plaque to mark the reopening.
It is the first time the Queen has been to the resort since July 1975.

'Historic event'
The Queen was presented with a posy of flowers by six-year-old Sophie Bellringer from Hull.
Speaking afterwards, Sophie said: "I was a bit nervous but she was very nice. All my friends at school are jealous."
The performance featured a violinist and a dance routine from the Hatton School of Performing Arts.

Jim Dillon, Chief Executive of Scarborough Borough Council, said: "This truly is a historic event of the highest magnitude for a borough that has a tradition of entertainment and attracting many generations of visitors."
The Royal party is also visiting the new Hares Leap farm shop before travelling to Cloughton, where they will have lunch at the Blacksmith's Arms, one of the Queen's duchy properties.
A large security operation was set up ahead of the visit.
