Stop Press! The Sands - Finalists in Tourism Awards 2009......
We have just had confirmation that The Sands - Sea Front Apartments are finalists in the Yorkshire Moors & Coast Awards 2009, for self-catering (multiple units). It is the most prestigious award that a hospitality company can win!
The winners are announced at a Grand Awards Ceremony held at The Spa Complex in Scarborough, on 25th November. There are six finalists in the same category as The Sands, all of which are of an extremely high standard, so the competition is fierce.
Robert Dean, Director of The Sands said: 'It is such a fantastic achievement to get this far as this is only our first year of business, so we are extremely happy! We always set ourselves the highest standards, so we hope the judges love our apartments and everything we offer.'
Rachel Dean, Director of The Sands, said: 'This is superb! The dinner is always a brilliant night and I'll be crossing all my fingers and toes to help us win...I'll have to get myself a new frock as well!'
