The Sands Nominated for Yorkshire Self Catering Accommodation of the Year!......

Rachel Dean, director of The Sands, said: 'We are delighted to get this far and, considering this is our very first year, this is an amazing achievement. We have tried to make a stay with us utterly unique, so we hope we'll be in the final running.'

'We try to do everything we can for the customer, from meeting them in the car park, to taking them to their room and providing them with daily weather reports. We'll keep racking our brains to see if there is anything else we can come up with. We'll be keeping our fingers and toes crossed hoping that we win!'

The Yorkshire Moors and Coast self catering award is presented at a ceremony on November 12th in Scarborough.
